At MetalStone Technologies, we’re experts in the commercial restoration and maintenance of metal, stone, wood and ceramic. But as we see it, we’re really in the customer service and relationship management business. Our yardstick is not just expert craftsmanship, but 100% client satisfaction. Every one of us is driven by a “do whatever it takes” mantra to respond quickly and completely, and not stop until our clients are happy – it’s why we enjoy a 95+% client retention rate.

Commitment like ours starts at the top. During more than 25 years in the business our -President, Joe Fernandes, has earned an unparalleled reputation for quality, service, and integrity. He built that reputation during his steady rise through senior management operations positions at UNICCO Service Company and as a Partner at MetalStone Technologies, continuing as the owner of PUREVIEW, LLC, and culminating with his recent purchase of MetalStone Technologies. It is that reputation, and the trust and loyalty he inspires, that has led both his craftsmen and his clients to follow him wherever he goes.

At MetalStone Technologies, our technical expertise is second to none. Our management team has over -85 years of cumulative industry experience. Our craftsmen average eleven years in the business, seven of those with us (we retain talent as well as we retain clients). We are citizens of our industry: we know the market, we know the buildings, and we know what it takes to protect and enhance the value of your property.

Metal Restoration and Maintenance:

Metal is an important feature of any property. It is not only functional, but it also adds character and beauty. Whether it’s doors, elevators, window frames, signs, banisters, mullions, railings, entryways or light fixtures, we can provide a maintenance program or help on an as-needed basis including emergency or scratch-repair. Our services ensure that your brass, stainless steel, aluminum, bronze, copper, and chrome finishes retain their original luster.

Stone Restoration and Maintenance:

Stone is one of the most visible elements of a building, present in the most prominent areas of your property. Throughout time, it has served as a symbol of power and elegance. Our full range of stone services includes sealing, polishing, restoration, degreasing, deep cleaning, color enhancing, grinding and honing. We know what it takes to enhance and protect the beauty of your natural stone surfaces, whether it’s marble, travertine, granite, slate, limestone, onyx, terrazzo or sandstone. We can provide a maintenance program or help on an as-needed basis.

Ceramic:

Ceramic is one of the most versatile flooring materials. However, grout cleaning and maintenance are absolutely critical for ceramic to retain its luster. We have our own special recipe for deep cleaning the grout and polishing and sealing your ceramic floors in order to maintain the consistency in appearance you desire.

Wood Restoration and Maintenance:

Wood is a timeless architectural element that provides a unique feeling of warmth and richness to any property. We know that every type of wood – oak, mahogany, cherry, maple, walnut, pine – is one of the most sensitive materials on site. Over time it can get damaged or decayed. We use classic, proven, sustainable methods, as part of a maintenance program or as needed, to restore and maintain all of your wood finishings.

Joseph Fernandes, President and General Manager

In 2005, Joe Fernandes founded PUREVIEW, LLC. Within two years it became the foremost window maintenance provider in New England. Listening to his clients’ needs and requests, Joe began offering architectural metal, stone and wood restoration and maintenance in June 2006. In just under three years, PUREVIEW, LLC was recognized as “best in class” in the market, delivering “blue chip” service to its clients and earning their loyalty and trust in return. During his 25+ years in the field, including senior management operations positions for UNICCO and as a Partner at MetalStone Technologies from 1998 through 2005, Joe has earned a sterling reputation for quality and service by putting his clients first.
Joe’s #1 lesson for his people, and his success, is simply stated: “If a client calls and needs something we will get back to them immediately – not the next day, not in 5-6 hours, but now.”

Paul Fernandes, Director of Operations

Paul has been in the business for eighteen years. He began his career at UNICCO and joined Joe at MetalStone Technologies in 1999 as Operations Manager. In March 2012 Paul joined PUREVIEW, LLC as Director of Operations in the Metal and Stone Division. Paul’s credo is to “go above and beyond to make our clients happy and do whatever it takes. We are not driven solely by revenues and profits. It is all about client satisfaction. That is the key to our success.” Paul is also very proud of the fact “we retain practically 100% of our employees. We rarely have turnover and we have never lost a client for poor performance.”

David Needleman, Operations Manager

David has thirty years of technical expertise. He has risen through the ranks, starting as a craftsman, then becoming a supervisor, and ultimately achieving the position of Operations Manager. David eats, sleeps, and breathes the business. In his spare time he enjoys researching new technologies and products to find better ways to serve his clients. David’s no nonsense, practical and technical “get it done” attitude really resonates with clients. His mantra is “if a client is not happy we will continue to work on the problem until they are.”

Ivan Ferreira, Area Manager

Ivan has been in the business for over twenty years and excels at all the technical details of our services. Ivan joined MetalStone Technologies in 1994. He began as a craftsman, was promoted to supervisor, and then was promoted again to Manager. Ivan’s responsibilities include training, scheduling and overseeing our daily projects to insure our customer’s satisfaction.

Jose Soto, Area Supervisor

Jose has been in the business for over fourteen years and, like most of our team members, has a very strong technical background. Jose joined MetalStone Technologies in 1999 and then worked at PUREVIEW, LLC starting in 2006. Jose has also risen through the ranks, starting out as a craftsman and then being promoted to an Area Supervisor.

Sergio Serpa, Director of Health & Safety

Sergio is responsible for the overall direction and management of Employee Health & Safety. Sergio started his career in the facilities maintenance industry in 1996 with UNICCO as the safety coordinator for window maintenance operations in the New England region. In 2001 Sergio graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a BS in Safety and Environmental Protection. In 2002, Sergio graduated from Suffolk University with a Master’s degree from the Sawyer School of Management. Recently, Sergio achieved the elite lifetime designation of Building Access Safety Professional (BASP).

Virginia Cappotto

Virginia began her career with PUREVIEW, LLC in 2007 as the Office Manager and currently manages all back office and administrative operations for MetalStone Technologies, LLC.
